This is a concept for my web server administration final project. We're to create a self-directed interactive website using a PHP-based open source website package that we customize and configure.

I'm using Wordpress to create mine, but I wanted a very original, multi-browser/screen resolution-friendly theme. This is the concept for it. Whether or not I can actually pull it off (as I'm woefully unexperienced with server-side includes) remains to be seen.

Criticism and suggestions VERY desired!

:clap: amazing! i love it, especially the layout!! the layout is fantastic. I also really like the cutout effect you've made on the edges on the left-hand side. That makes it more than just the cliche parchment on wood. If I was forced to criticise, the only thing i can think of to say is that I personally would have used a finer wood texture or like a higher res one, but that's just me. There's nothing particularly wrong with it though. I even like the fact that the writing in the slightly angled section is straight. Very very good. Love it!
